Welcome to Khorchapati ("Khorchapati," "the Service," "the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Khorchapati governing your access to and use of the Service.
By creating an account, completing OTP verification, joining a family or business workspace, or otherwise using any part of Khorchapati, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your OTP, PIN, biometric credentials, and any other authentication mechanism you enable. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account.
Khorchapati comprises three deliverables that ship together:
A Flutter-based mobile app available in Bangla and English. Features include OTP login, family workspace setup, expense and income tracking, staff and fuel management, bills, AI-driven alerts, the "Can I Spend?" advisory tool, financial reports, and an offline draft queue that synchronizes when connectivity is restored.
A Next.js web dashboard restricted to authorized Admin Users for managing users, families, subscriptions, storage, transactions, and AI alert logs.
A Node.js and NestJS service backed by PostgreSQL, providing JWT authentication, the rule-based AI engine, subscription billing logic, file storage abstraction, Swagger documentation, reporting endpoints, and administrative APIs.
Khorchapati may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all financial data, transactions, staff records, fuel logs, and bills entered into the Service.
We may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Features, limits, and prices may change from time to time.
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You authorize Khorchapati and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for each billing cycle until you cancel.
You may cancel at any time through the Service. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, levies, and duties, which are your responsibility unless we state otherwise.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the Mobile Application, Admin Panel, Backend API, name, logo, trademarks, source code, documentation, AI Engine rules, and related materials, remain the exclusive property of Khorchapati and its licensors.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Khorchapati grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Mobile Application on Devices you own or control, and to access the Service for your personal or internal business use.
You retain ownership of the Content you upload to the Service. By submitting Content, you grant Khorchapati a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, process, and adapt your Content solely to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your Content does not violate any law or any third party's rights.
Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal data is described in the Khorchapati Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service you consent to the processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Khorchapati employs industry-standard security measures, including JWT-based authentication, encrypted transport, and access controls on the Admin Panel. However, no system is perfectly secure.
The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including payment processors, OTP gateways, push-notification providers, cloud storage, and app stores. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KHORCHAPATI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.
Khorchapati does not warrant that AI outputs, reports, or financial summaries are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Khorchapati is not a bank, payment institution, accountant, auditor, or financial advisor.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KHORCHAPATI AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.
Khorchapati's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you actually paid to Khorchapati for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one thousand Bangladeshi Taka (BDT 1,000).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Khorchapati and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to your use or misuse of the Service, your Content, your violation of these Terms or any applicable law, or your infringement of any third party's rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe in good faith that you have violated these Terms or that your activity poses a security or legal risk.
Upon termination: your right to use the Service ceases immediately, outstanding fees become due, and we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate operational purposes.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other reasonable means and update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be submitted first to good-faith negotiation between the parties.
If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days, it shall be finally settled by the competent courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that Khorchapati retains the right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
